Traditional Services
For those looking for a traditional funeral service, the Traditional Package is the perfect baseline. Easily adaptable to make every funeral unique and personal to each family we serve, the Traditional Package also covers supplementary services to ensure a bespoke send off for your loved one, executed to the most precise wishes
Collection of the Deceased
From their place of death - this is a 24-hour service for deaths that occur at a home address including care/nursing homes and hospices. Collection from Hospitals are within 3 working days of notification. The deceased will rest with us at our branch in Dereham
Care of the Deceased
In our Chapel of Rest - we take special note of any special requests and personal effects you wish for. This includes dressing the deceased in their own clothes, applying makeup and styling hair. Hair locks and fingerprints are optional if desired
Administration of Documents
We administer all statutory documents to the relevant authority, such as the cremation documents, as well as burial forms and the certificate for burial or cremation. Including all third-party arrangements
The Coffin of Choice
We have a wide range of coffins available for choice . The Chiltern Oak is included in the cost, however the entire range can be chosen - varying costs may apply. Personalised options available
Funeral Arrangements
We will go through each detail with the families we serve, including all bespoke options. We confirm availability with all third-parties during arrangements to ensure you can leave with the date & time confirmed
Viewings in our Chapel of Rest
You have the option to come and spend time with the deceased in our Chapel of Rest. Mourners are welcome to spend as much time during their visit as they wish and can attend on more than one occasion. Weekend and evening appointments available. Find out more here
Funeral Fleet - Hearse
We will provide a hearse, as part of the cost. The hearse can go via an address, or directly to the service location. We can also provide bespoke hearses, including motorbike and horse-drawn.
An Officiant
This may be a Minister of Faith for religious services, a Civil Celebrant or a Humanist. Click on the links for more information. The officiant will be in touch with you to discuss the order of service, including music and readings
Service Sheets & Memorial Items
We provide service sheets containing the order of service, for mourners to follow as the service progresses. May include photos, readings and the words to songs and hymns.
Memory cards & books also available
Burial or Cremation Service
We conduct services at all Norfolk crematoria, cemeteries, natural burial grounds and churchyards. All services are bespoke and suited to your wishes. We will book a date and time for the service during the arrangements, if desired
Collection of Donations
We collect donations made in memory of the deceased to the chosen cause. Donations will be collected as you leave each service, cheques may also be posted to our office address. We send a letter to confirm the amount received and pass this on directly
Online Tribute & Donation Page
We create an online tribute page on 'Much Loved' dedicated to your loved one - whereby you can share and read tributes, collect online donations, share funeral & wake details, share photos and light a virtual candle
Pall Bearers and Funeral Staff
We provide up to six pall bearers to carry the coffin from the hearse to the catafalque. If any family members wish to carry the coffin, let us know and one our our trained members of staff will talk them through the steps
24/7 Support & Guidance
We provide client support on a 24/7 basis - family members are welcome to call us at any time to ask questions & talk. We are first and foremost here for you. You can also pop into our branch, email us or request a home visit
Free Home Visits
If you wish to speak with us, ask questions, or give us anything such as printed photos, makeup or clothes, then we are happy to arrange a home visit. These can be arranged out-of-hours by request
Burials: Grave Marker
A temporary grave marker will be provided for the time period before a headstone can be installed, which is usually 6 months.
You can choose from a 18" or 36" cross, a square marker or a bespoke design
Cremations: Ashes Casket
While a Norfolk Oak ashes casket is inclusive in the traditional package, the whole range is available for selection. We put the ashes into the casket once they are back in our care, and arrange delivery or collection within 3 days
Floral Tributes
Up to £70 of floral tributes are inclusive, contribution towards a coffin spray, wreath and/or basket. We can source these from our local florists who we know and trust. Arranged by us and delivered to our office the morning of the funeral
Memorial Jewellery and Gifts
We offer memorial jewellery from EverWith, at a 10% discount. A wide range of items are available, from rings, necklaces, bracelets, pendants and cufflinks. As well as ashes, fingerprints & locks of hair may be used
After Care Support & Guidance
We offer in-house bereavement support and counselling from our trained staff, and are here to signpost you to outside services if needed. We remain on the end of the phone and encourage our clients to pop in to see us

Newspaper Announcement
We will arrange for a funeral announcement to be placed in a local or national publication, including the EDP and Dereham Times. You can publish the funeral details, including donations, and a tribute. Costs from £100
Limousine
One limousine for up to seven mourners, to follow the hearse to the place of committal. This will also transport mourners to the wake reception or to a home address.
Cost of £210
Cremations: Ashes Interment
Contribution towards an ashes interment at a local cemetery, churchyard or crematorium gardens. We also conduct interments on private land where permission
has been sought. Costs from £195
The Woodland Farewell
This entails a woodland goodbye at Greenacres Colney Wood, with the 60 minute service concluding as the hearse travels through the woodland.

Woodland Location
An hour service in the woodland hall, overlooking the beautiful scenery and wildlife surroundings. The hearse leaves through the path amongst the trees

Floral tributes bespoke to your wishes, available for bespoke designs, with a seasonal selection of flowers
Enhanced Floristry Options
You may have flowers woven into a naturally-sourced coffin by a local Florist. The seasonal selection is available throughout the year
